A sore that develops on the lining of the oesophagus, stomach or small intestine.

ULCER OCCUR WHEN STOMACH ACID DAMAGES THE LINING OF DIGESTIVE TRACT.


Most common cause is Bacterium helicobacter pylori and long term use of NSAIDS non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs like IBUPROFEN.
